PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!
The time was five in the morning. Sister Willhoite and I were travelling
on deputation in Michigan when I was suddenly awakened by a dream from
the Lord. In the dream, I looked and saw a multitude of people before my
eyes. A platform sat in the centre of the huge crowd. A man came to me
and said. "You are to be the preacher and our subject will be a simple
message on the coming of the Lord." The man asked me. "Where do you want
to preach the message?" I answered, "I see a platform in the midst of
the people. but I do not want to preach from the platform.
A huge building is in the center of the people and I will preach from
the rooftop of the building." Suddenly I was carried by the Spirit to
the top of the building where I began preaching on the subject of the
coming of the Lord. As I was preaching, hundreds of men on horseback
charged out of the building. They rode into the crowd with small books
under their arms. Hands reached from everywhere to receive them. God
spoke to me and said, "The books are the warning found in Matthew
Chapter 26 that warn of the imminent return of our Lord. He also told me
that the Church would awaken, trim her lamps, talk to others, and have
time to go places after the warning.
During this time millions of dollars will be made available to send
missionaries around the world. I arose from my bed and awoke my wife. I
told her about the dream. We prayed together and the presence of the
Lord filled the room. Later, I walked to my computer and sat down to
write a portion of a new book. Suddenly the Spirit of prophecy came upon
me and I wrote the words as God gave them to me.
From that time, I read the prophecy in my missionary services. The
people ran to the altar and prayed each time the prophecy was read. Two
weeks after the dream I was conducting a service in Minnesota. A man
walked off the street and stood in the back of the church during the
latter part of my message. I began to read the prophecy. The man
suddenly ran down the centre aisle screaming my name. He said. "John
Willhoite. You are a liar John Willhoite, I accuse you. I challenge your
God." Demons were speaking out of him. When the members saw that the man
had a large dagger they hit the floor crying and praying. The man
arrived in front of the platform and was eyeing me with hatred.
Several good men of the church subdued him and ushered him out the side
door. The man pulled his knife from its scabbard and thrust it toward
one of the men. Suddenly the knife fell out of his hand.
I was in Minnesota when God spoke to me that I was to read the prophecy
at the General Conference. I called headquarters and spoke to a
secretary. She said, "Brother Leaman wants you to say something at the
Conference." I asked, "How much time will I have?" "Only three minutes,"
she replied. "What does he want me to say?" "Brother Willhoite, he said
you are to say something spiritual." I hung up the phone rejoicing in
the Lord.
Sunday came and it was mission's day at the conference. Brother Leaman
held a meeting with all of the speakers. He announced that time was
short and all of the chosen speakers would not have time to speak. My
heart fell.
The ministers preached well. I knew that time was running out and there
would not be time enough for me. The last minister was introduced and he
preached. The altar call was given and I was disappointed. I knelt with
the others to pray. My prayer was. God, I'm under the gourd vine. You
said one thing and have done another. You have not given me an
opportunity to deliver the message to the Conference as you said." I was
upset with God. I arose from prayer to find Brother Jones, the master of
ceremonies, standing before me. He pointed his finger at me and said,
"Do what God wants you to do!" I stepped to the pulpit and revealed the
dream and prophecy.
'Yea. The voice of the Lord doth speak. I will not tarry! I will not
wait! When mine hour doth come, I shall come as lightning from the east
to the west. Cannot you hear my thundering? I speak to you of dark hours
that will come upon the earth. You will know of my appearing for I shall
speak to you in terms that you can understand. I will awaken my Church.
Lo, the veil shall he lifted from the eyes of my people and they shall
see the fields are white, already to harvest. Weep, oh my people, do not
slumber. Do not be lulled to sleep. Shout it from the rooftops. Shout it
from the mountains, my people, I am coming sooner than you expect.
Behold, the nations await the Anti-Christ. He is coming to deceive the
very elect. Darkness, yea, gross darkness cometh, yet my people shall
awaken. My horsemen shall ride in the midst of my people, declaring my
message of truth, for I am coming soon. I promise you. I will not tarry,
nor will I wait. The hour is upon you when my horsemen shall ride. Yea,
they shall ride to give the message to my people for I am coming soon.
The offering for missions had already been taken before the last
minister preached. After the prophecy, Brother Billy Cole shouted, Take
an offering!" Twenty-eight thousand dollars was placed in baskets in a
few minutes. Some took everything out of their wallets and purses and
threw the money in. I knew by this that the message I had for the Church
was really from God. WE ARE NOW IN THE TIME OF THE WARNING! After the
service, I was standing near our booth in the missions display area. I
noticed a strange looking man coming towards me. His eyes seemed to be
glued on me. He walked straight to me and pointed his finger in my face.
He said. "You are the one to prepare the end-time books for the
warning." He turned and walked away without my being able to say
anything to him. I felt as though I had been visited by an angel.
I left the Conference and drove from Milwaukee to Houston to buy a car
for my daughter. Three days later, I drove to Chicago to pick up where I
had left off in my itinerary. I worked Northern Illinois for two weeks
and drove back to Milwaukee for a Missions Conference. I then left for
Saint Louis to pick up my wife at the airport.
After picking her up, we drove to the southeast corner of Oklahoma for
our first service in the District. From there, we went to Tulsa to be
with the New Life Pentecostal Church. The date was October 26. The
pastor checked my wife and me into the Marriot Hotel near the church.
After a wonderful service, the pastor took us to a nice restaurant for a
meal. I felt fine.
The next morning it was a different story. I awoke and my breathing was
hampered. My wife called the management of the Hotel and the management
called an ambulance. The ten-minute trip to the hospital was over
quickly. Death struck while I was being wheeled in on a stretcher. The
emergency crew shocked me back to life. I remember the swirling bright
lights above me. People were calling my name. I could see faces above
me. The next thing I remember, I awoke on life support. I remained in
that condition for eleven days. When I awoke. I raised my eyes to look
at the monitor and my heart was going crazy. I knew that I was close to
death. Again the lights went out and this time it took seven shocks to
bring me back. Doctor Waters made the announcement. "Call in the family.
John will not last through the day. My close relatives came to Tulsa to
say good-by.
I knew when the family gathered around me that death was certain.
Something was happening that I did not know about. Entire churches fell
to their knees to pray for me. Many prayed in countries where we served
as missionaries.
As I lay there dying my thoughts went to the prophecy that was given to
me. I could not understand why I was dying without time to prepare the
warning. I knew that I was to be a part of giving the end time warning
to the Church world. "Why! Why!" These words rang over and over in my
mind. I hung between life and death for eleven days and suddenly I took
a turn for the better. One day, I looked at the clock. It was Wednesday.
I wrote a note to my wife. "At 12:10, I felt Jesus come into the room.
Joy!" I later was informed that World Evangelism Centre had gone to
prayer for me at 12:00 noon.
A miracle happened. I improved. After eleven days in CCU, I was moved to
a private room. At this time Dr. Waters entered my room. "John." he
said, "if we take the machine off you will die. If you fly to Houston
you will die in the plane." I continued to improve. A few days later he
came back into my room. He was smiling. "John." he says, " get ready to
go home to Houston. Something has happened and your heart has smoothed
out." A miracle had occurred. After twenty-one days from the beginning
of my illness, I was released to fly to Houston.
I AM A LIVING, WALKING, BREATHING, MIRACLE! I AM TAKING THIS REPRIEVE
FROM DEATH TO WRITE "THE WARNING." THIS LITTLE BOOK IS YOUR WARNING! IT
IS TIME TO PREPARE FOR THE RAPTURE!
CHAPTER 1
JESUS IS COMING!
THE WARNING
By: John L. Willhoite
Matthew 25:6, "And at midnight there was a cry made. Behold the
bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him." The last day warning is now
going out to the Church. It is a warning of the imminent return of the
Lord Jesus Christ in the air. The warning is being given to awaken the
Church. Preparations for the coming of the Lord must be made without
delay. Listen to the warning as it rings loud and clear. Jesus is coming
sooner than the Church expects.
THE HOPE OF THE CHURCH
The second corning of Jesus Christ and the rapture of all true
Christians are the hope of the Church. The rapture is not death. It is
not immortality. It is the resurrection from the dead and glorification
with Jesus Christ. The word "rapture" comes from the Latin word "rapio"
meaning "to carry off. It means a literal carrying away of the true
Christians from the earth to the New Jerusalem. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is
where Paul explains that "We which are alive and remain shall be caught
up to meet Christ in the air." This hope is set before us again and
again in the New Testament. It is mentioned more than three hundred
times. The repeated mention of the rapture experience should reveal the
importance of the event.
THE SECOND COMING WILL BE A VISIBLE COMING
When we speak of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the rapture of
all true Christians, we refer to His personal and visible reappearing on
this earth. Jesus said. "They shall see the Son of man coming in the
clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:30) The angels
could not have been wrong when they addressed the disciples on Mount
Olive after the ascension of our Lord. They said, "This same Jesus shall
so come again in like manner as ye have seen him go into Heaven."
Jesus was caught away in a body. He shall return in a body. Man saw Him
go up and man shall see him come down. He went up in the clouds. He
shall come down from the clouds. Remember. it is stressed in the Bible
that He shall come in "like manner" as he left.
THE SECOND COMING IS A LITERAL EVENT
The coming of the Lord will be a literal event. Paul says in I
Thessalonians 4:16. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with
a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:" This means the Lord is coming back
in a literal physical coming. John reinforced this when he said in
Revelation 1:7, "Behold. He cometh with clouds', and every eye shall see
Him, and they also which pierced Him." Jesus is coming back to the
earth. Can anything be plainer?
WHEN WILL THE LORD COME AGAIN?
When will Jesus come back to the earth in bodily form to take his Church
away? Nobody knows the exact day nor hour, of the glorious appearing of
the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:36 states, "For of that
day and hour knoweth no man. No, not the angels of heaven, but my father
only. "There have been those who attempted to set dates and fix times
and seasons for the coming of the Lord. This brought despair in the
hearts of the persons who believed these reports. Satan has sought to
dishonour the true doctrine of the Second Coming of Christ. Behold the
cunning of Satan. He inspires the date-setters to set the exact date.
When it doesn't happen as they predicted. faith disappears from the
minds of those who believe these lies.
THE CHURCH WILL KNOW THE APPROXIMATE TIME OF HIS COMING
The Church does not know the exact day nor hour, of the coming of the
Lord, however, God has made it plain that certain signs and a definite
warning would be visible in the last days. These signs and the ultimate
warning, "Behold the bridegroom cometh," will reveal to the Church the
approximate time of the appearing of the Lord in the clouds. Matthew
24:37 says, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be." Noah knew of the approximate time of the coming of
the flood. Matthew 24:38 reveals that Noah entered into the Ark. God
revealed to Noah the approximate time when it would began to rain or he
would not have entered into the Ark when he did. "Noah moved with fear,
built an ark to the saving of his household."
SINNERS WILL KNOW OF THE COMING OF THE LORD AFTER IT TAKES PLACE
Jesus said, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth
come." To "watch" means to "expect" something to happen. The Church must
be in daily expectancy of his return. The Church will remain in a state
of perfection because of this expectancy. Jesus stimulates us to holy
living so we will not be ashamed before him when he returns. The Bible
says. "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many: and unto
them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto
salvation." Luke speaks of being ready in Luke 12:40. "He ye therefore
ready also for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not."
THE MIDNIGHT CRY
Matthew 25:6 speaks of the midnight cry of "l3ehold the bridegroom
cometh". This is a definite warning that will he given shortly before
the time of the Lord's coming. A strong simple message of his appearing
will strike the Church with a heavy blow. Noah was warned of God. The
Church is being warned as Noah was warned. The Lord is coming back for a
bride who has made herself ready. It is time for God to give the Church
a shock wave to awaken her.
THE DISCIPLES ASKED FOR ONE SIGN OF THE COMING OF THE LORD
In Matthew 24: 3, the disciples asked Jesus to tell them what sign they
should look for that indicated the coming of the Lord was near. The
disciples did not ask for many signs. The word sign" used in this verse
did not have an "S" on the end of it. If they had asked for the
revelation of more than one sign, the word "sign" would have been
plural. They only asked for one conclusive sign.
SIGNS OF THE END-TIME
Jesus said, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deceive you about what?
Deceive you about the Second Coming of the Lord. He said. "For many
shall come in my name saying. I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Jesus continued, "For ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see
that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass: but the
end is not vet." Jesus mentioned these events and yet he said we are not
to worry about them. They are not the signs that indicate His second
coming.
THE TRUE SIGN OF THE COMING OF THE LORD
The sign which the disciples were asking for was not mentioned until
Matthew 24:14. "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all
the world for a witness unto all nations: and then shall the end come."
The true sign of the imminent return of Jesus Christ is the sudden
preaching of the gospel to the whole world.
THE SUDDENNESS OF THE EVENT
The coming of the Lord will not be a prolonged event. It will happen
suddenly and will be over in a matter of moments. Jesus compared his
coming to lightning. Matthew 24:27, "For as the lightning cometh out of
the east and shineth even unto the west: so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be." Lightning flashes, strikes, and is finished suddenly in
a fraction of a second. All preparations must be made in advance.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! JESUS IS COMING SOON

CHAPTER 2
BASIC PREPARATIONS FOR THE RAPTURE
By: John L. Willhoite
An individual must accept and do the will of God to prepare for the
rapture. Obedience to the full plan of salvation is an absolute
necessity. Many people have not come to God in full obedience to the
Word of God. Because of this, they will he left behind to face the
judgments of God.
BASIC PLAN OF SALVATION
The basic plan of salvation is divided into four parts. They are the
four essentials of salvation. If any one of the four is missing from
your experience, then it will be impossible for you It) go in the
rapture. The four essentials of salvation are as follows:
1. Faith
2. Repentance
3. Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins
4. Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking
with tongues
ACTS 2:38, THE ONLY WAY
Acts 2:38 is given as the plan of salvation for our dispensation of
time. Do you want to go in the rapture? Acts 2:38 states, "Then Peter
said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost." No other plan of salvation is given for our
dispensation of time.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! YOU MUST OBEY THE PLAN OF SALVATION TO GO IN THE
RAPTURE!
FAITH, THE FIRST STEP IN THE PLAN OF SALVATION
Faith is the first step of salvation. No person above the age of
accountability can be saved and go in the rapture unless they place
their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16, "For God so loved the
world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Faith is the vehicle
that will carry you on to obey the complete plan of salvation. It is
your starting point, however, this does not relieve you to neglect the
other commandments of the Lord.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
YOU MUST PLACE YOUR FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TO GO IN THE RAPTURE!
REPENTANCE, THE SECOND STEP OF THE PLAN OF SALVATION
Repentance is the second step of the plan of salvation. It is turning
away from sin and returning to God. You must ask for forgiveness of the
sins you committed in the past and promise not to do them again.
Repentance is a changed attitude toward sin. Ii is prayer at the altar
and action in life's daily walk. In Acts 11:18 the writer said. "Then
hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life." Everybody
is required to repent to go in the rapture. Sin will never enter into
Heaven. Jesus' first sermon after his baptism and testing in the
wilderness was on repentance. Matthew 4:17 states, "From that time Jesus
began to preach, and to say. Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at
hand. Acts 17:30 reaffirms the necessity to repent. "In times past God
winked at ignorance, but now commands all men to repent.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND TURN AWAY FROM THEM OR YOU CANNOT GO IN
THE RAPTURE!
BAPTISM, THE THIRD STEP IN THE PLAN OF SALVATION
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is required to go in the rapture.
Jesus said in Mark 16:16. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be
saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned." Luke testified that
repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name (Jesus)
among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." It was in Jerusalem that
Peter preached a message which included baptism in the name of Jesus
Christ.
THE CHURCH BEGAN WITH BAPTISM IN JESUS NAME
One hundred and twenty people, including eleven of the original apostles
and the mother of Jesus, obeyed the command of the Lord to go into
Jerusalem to be endued with power from on high. When the day of
Pentecost arrived. Peter preached a convicting message. The people asked
him, "What must we do?" Peter commanded them to be baptized in the name
of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38)
EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE BEING BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME
Philip went down to Samaria and preached. The Samaritans were baptized
in the name of Jesus. Acts 8:16 says, "For as yet he was fallen upon
none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Peter commanded the Gentile converts to he baptized in the name of
Jesus. "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord."
(Acts 10:48) Paul baptized the followers of John the Baptist in the name
of Jesus. "When they heard this. they were baptized in the name of the
Lord Jesus." (Acts 19)
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE NAME OF JESUS IN BAPTISM
The use of the name of Jesus is of utmost importance in baptism. Acts
4:12 states, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." The
Bible says. "Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord Jesus." The most common expression by the minister when a person is
baptized in the name of Jesus is: "I now baptize you in the name of
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins." There is no remission of sins
unless you are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
YOU MUST BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST TO GO IN THE RAPTURE!
The baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the initial sign of speaking with
other tongues, is absolutely essential for salvation. Nobody will go in
the rapture without it.
The baptism of the Holy Ghost will give you power to go in the rapture.
FIVE STEPS TO RECEIVING THE HOLY GHOST
1. Place your faith in Jesus Christ.
2. Repent of all of your sins.
3. Pray audibly.
4. Yield yourself to the Spirit of God
5. Allow your tongue to speak with other tongues.
JOEL'S PROPHECY OF THE HOLY GHOST EXPERIENCE
The prophet Joel gave a prophecy concerning the out-pouring of the Holy
Ghost. Joel 2:28 informs us "And it shall come to pass afterward that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see
visions." Isaiah also spoke of the experience. "For with stammering lips
and another tongue will he speak to this people."
THE DAY OF PENTECOST
The first record that we have of the Holy Ghost being poured out is
found in Acts 2:1-4. "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come. they
were all in one accord, in one place. And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the entire house
where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues
like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them,' and they were all filled
with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the
Spirit gave them utterance."
THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST TO GO IN THE
RAPTURE!

CHAPTER 3
THE GREAT AWAKENING
By: John L. Willhoite
Revivalists have long pictured the awakening of the Church. Evangelists
and pastors of the past generations have spoken of revival in the future
tense. "Revival is coming..' they have said. "It will be upon us sooner
than we expect." Revival has been evasive, yet sporadic outpourings of
the Spirit of God have been realized through the years. The measure of
revival in the past is like a grain of sand on the beaches of the great
awakening. The revivalists of the end-time who walk in the Spirit are
now declaring the message. "Revival is now here. The great awakening is
now in the beginning stages."
TEN VIRGINS A TYPE OF THE CHURCH
The great awakening is spoken of in Matthew 2~. The story is told of ten
virgins. The virgins are a true type of the Church. They were divided
into two groups. Five of them were wise and five of them were foolish.
In the beginning of Matthew 25, the Bible says that all of the virgins
went forth to meet the bridegroom. They all went forth to meet the
bridegroom. However only five of them were fully prepared. This allegory
is spoken of in other passages of Scripture. There would be "two in the
bed, one was taken and the other left. Two were grinding at the mill,
one was taken and the other left. Two were working in the field, one was
taken and the other left." It appears that only half of the visible
Church will go in the rapture. You must heed the call and awaken
yourself immediately to take advantage of the last day warning.
HEED THE WARNING
The amazing thing is that all ten virgins were awakened by a warning.
"Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him." This is telling
us that we must heed the warning of God's messengers when they warn the
Church of His imminent return. The reason for the warning is that lamps
need to be trimmed for the world's greatest revival.
TRIMMING YOUR LAMPS
Oil lamps are still used by a large majority of the peoples of the
world. You will notice that when a wick burns low until it goes out,
that the wick has turned black. To trim your lamps means to pull the
wick up, cut off the black, clean the globe of the lamp, replenish the
supply of oil, and after lighting the wick again: the light will fill
the room. There shall be light in the evening time that shall fill the
world.
THE GLOBAL AWAKENING
The great global awakening of the Church will bring revival, however
many will be unable to re-light their lamps because of the lack of oil
in their vessels. It is possible to lead people into such delusion that
the minister will not be able to re-light holiness and purity in the
hearts of their followers. All of the virgins will attempt to re-light
their lamps at the midnight cry. Because of sins terrible toll, five of
them will not be able to continue their journey towards heaven. They
will not be able to see their way in the darkness.
SUFFICIENT AND INSUFFICIENT OIL
All of the virgins carried oil in their lamps, however, it appears that
additional oil for a long journey was not carried for their lamps.
Because of the long wait for the coming of the Lord, the oil in their
lamps was depleted. The warning of the coming of the Lord is now
sounding and resounding around the world. Will you wait until it is too
late to heed the warning to replenish the oil in your lamp and vessel?
THE INTERVAL BETWEEN
An interval between the time of the midnight warning and the rapture is
obvious. After the awakening, the virgins had time to trim their lamps,
talk to one another, and to go places. However it appears that this time
was very brief. The coming of the Lord may be months away or possibly
several years in the future. The information that modern day prophets
have failed to see is this short interval of time. People live as though
Jesus will never come. This must change.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD IN THE AIR!
MIDNIGHT
The word midnight can mean one of three things.
1. God chose this time to warn the people to indicate that His coming
was near.
2. God sees that the hour of the warning will be a sin-darkened hour.
3. God is giving the beginning of a new day because the mid-night hour
is also
the beginning of a new day.
I prefer to choose all three of these as God's answer to the warning
being given at the midnight hour.
THE LIGHT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ALL
At the great awakening of the Church the light will be available to all
who live on the earth. The power in the name of Jesus will not be
denied. Millions of souls will fall on their faces to pray for the first
time in their lives. Multiplied millions will repent of their sins,
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and be baptized in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
COMPROMISE WILL CEASE TO EXIST AMONG THE TRUE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST
Pastors, evangelists, teachers, prophets and apostles will burn midnight
oil to bring about this worldwide revival. Compromise will be a thing of
the past among these revivalists who set out to evangelize the world.
They will ride as God's horsemen and will not tarry long in worldly
atmospheres, but will desire the holy and the pure. They will set no
evil thing before their eyes. Life in Jesus Christ will be more
important than anything else in the world. These revivalists will rain
terror upon Satan and his demonic powers. Their prayers and awesome
preaching will penetrate the strongholds of Satan. No demon will be able
to stand against the mighty thrust of Holy Ghost anointing. Sin and
Satan will not stop them from evangelizing the world.
THE VOICE OF HOLINESS WILL BE HEARD
During the time of the warning, which is now upon us, millions will not
be interested in a compromise gospel. They will desire a sure voice to
be heard among them. Holy living will be the order of the day. The
Church and the ministry will abhor unrighteousness.
STRONG DELUSION WILL COME FROM FALSE PROPHETS
Strong delusion will come to those who follow false prophets. Their eyes
will not have sufficient light to see. Light is what makes things
visible to our eyes. No light! No sight! Holiness will be a thing of the
past among them. They will begin to think that darkness is light and
holiness is not necessary to please a Holy God. Spiritual filth will
turn their eyes away from God to worldly amusements and pleasure.
Murders will be before their eyes, lust will fill their vision, and
Satan will tell them that they are winning. Many will turn away from the
truth, however, millions of others shall see the light and come to the
truth with the beauty of holiness.
FLICKERING LAMPS
Many lamps will burn low on oil while the long wait for the coming
Saviour passes. Those whose lamps are flickering without the necessary
oil will not be allowed to participate in the spreading of the light.
True, the ten virgins awoke, however five of them had trouble letting
their light shine.
SPIRITUAL DARKNESS ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH
Darkness, yes, gross darkness will come upon the face of the earth.
Thick spiritual darkness will be everywhere. The warning, "Behold the
bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him" reveals this darkness. The
trimming of the lamps shall offset this darkness. Millions of tiny
lights will blaze as a mighty forest fire in a dry season. People will
be drawn to the lighted lamps as bugs to a light in the night.
Consecration will be on its highest level since Christ walked on the
earth.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! JESUS IS COMING SOON! BE READY!

CHAPTER 4
PREPARATIONS FOR WORLD-WIDE REVIVAL
By: John L. Willhoite
A worldwide revival will come during the interval between the warning
and the rapture. The Church will awaken at the sound of the warning. The
awakening of the Church will cause all Christians to think differently
than they have in the past. They will take more interest in the things
of God and less in worldly success. This means that they will prepare
for revival. As a result of this millions of souls will turn to God.
EVANGELISTIC MEETINGS AND REVIVAL
Most modern day "revivals" are evangelistic meetings designed to reach
the lost. It is wonderful to have a series of meetings for this purpose,
but this does not mean that revival is in the hearts of the members.
True revival is the awakening of Christians. Evangelistic meetings are
people attempting to reach people with the gospel. A revival is
something that comes from God to man. Prayer, fasting, and a general
return to the basics of Christianity are signs of true revival.
REVIVAL SPARKED BY THE DESIRE TO GET CLOSER TO GOD
The end-time revival will happen because of the desire to get closer to
God. Prayer meetings, cooperative crusades, miracles, healing,
deliverance and the general awakening of God's people will bring
revival. Old-time, soul searching preaching will spark the desire for
revival in true Christians.
JOHN THE BAPTIST ATTRACTED THE CROWD WITH A MESSAGE FROM GOD
John the Baptist did not have a problem attracting crowds. He did not
have a huge cathedral. He shook the whole countryside with his awesome
preaching of the kingdom of God and righteousness. John did not have a
public address system, keyboard, guitars, or drums.
The people came to see and hear John because of his message of
deliverance. The warning "Behold the bridegroom cometh. Go ye out to
meet him" is powerful. This message alone will attract thousands to the
Church. People will stop and take notice when they see the masses
filling our church buildings. Several services per day will be conducted
in many churches.
PROPHECIES FOR THE END-TIME
Many things will happen during the interval between the warning and the
actual going into the bride chamber:
1. Church ministers will pray hours and hours for power from God.

some.
37. Nobody will give for recognition only.
38. Many possessions will be sold and the money will be given to the
work of the Lord.
39. Evangelists will go to the churches and will not have to worry about
money to stay on the field.
40. Holiness will prevail in the true Church.
41. False churches will be identified by their lack of standards. 42.
Crime will be at an all-time high.
43. Suicide will be at its highest level because of perplexities and
difficulties of life.

53. Greater problems will arise in the youth of the nations.
54. Open rebellion against leaders of the nation will be present in a
greater way.
55. Prostitutes will line the streets of our cities.
56. Drugs will be legalized in many nations.
57. False churches will ignore the power in Jesus name.
58. Demon possession will be more common.
59. Many will wish for death to come upon them because of the trouble of
the nation.
60. Lying spirits will be rampant upon the earth.
61. Wilful acts of violence will be launched against innocent people.
62. Fear will lie heavily upon the world.
63. Millions will die of the AIDS virus.
64. Rapes will be common and rapists will receive lighter sentences.
65. Children will rise up to murder their parents.
66. Mothers and fathers will abuse their children and killing of
children will be more common than it is today.
67. Witches will fool thousands into following demonic cults.
68. New false cults will appear on the scene.
69. Believers and sinners alike will be drawn into illicit sex.
70. Millions will fall on their faces to pray and the world's greatest
revival will bring back the Lord Jesus to the earth.
71. The coming of the Lord will be sudden and unexpected by the world as
the bride enters the bride chamber, pure and white, washed in the blood
of the lamb.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! THE IMMINENT RETURN OF THE LORD IS UPON US.
PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE GREAT AWAKENING REVIVAL AND THE COMING OF THE
LORD!

CHAPTER 5
PRAYER AND FASTING
By: Patsy Ree Martin
WHAT WILL PRAYER AND FASTING DO?
Prayer and fasting will put a spiritual sword in our hands so we can war
against Satan. They give us strength to bear our daily burdens and carry
us through the storms of life. They turn back the shadow of death, put a
song in the Christians heart, lift the load of guilt and shame, fortify
the soul, lift us when we have fallen, bring angels down from heaven,
heal the soul, and reconcile the prodigal son. Dedicated prayer and
fasting will still a storm, calm the waters, restore your soul, overcome
Satan, and comfort the lonely.
HOW TO CONQUER YOUR FLESHLY DESIRES
When prayer and fasting are present in your life, fleshly desires become
subject to God. Faith is increased and carnality bows to the Spirit.
Unbelief is destroyed and a Christian becomes a channel for the Holy
Ghost to work through. Prayer and fasting bring the victory by helping
us to overcome sinful desires. Lust, hatred, malice, envy, bitterness
and strife are easily conquered through prayer and fasting.
REASONS PEOPLE PRAY AND FAST
1. Some people pray and fast when they come face to face with things
that they cannot overcome with their own strength. They must reach the
end of their strength, have no ability of their own to escape the
situation, and be beyond the help of others to feel the need to pray and
fast. We pray because prayer brings new courage and power. The Scripture
says in Isaiah 40:31. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their
strength." Ingredients as important as prayer and fasting should prevail
in every Christian's life.
2. One of the main reasons we pray and fast is for spiritual benefits.
Through prayer, coupled with fasting, we can see answers to prayer that
we have been praying about for years. Diseases and sickness disappear;
temptations are overcome, and a powerful revival can come overnight.
We shall see God work miracles and see answers to prayers that we never
dreamed possible. The ministry of pastors, evangelists, teachers, and
organizational leaders experience Holy Ghost power through prayer and
fasting. The gifts of the Spirit shall operate freely with no
restraints. Prayer and fasting brings new anointing on our homes,
families, and churches.
3. Christians pray because Jesus asked them to pray, in order to
receive. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatsoever ye shall ask in my
name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye
shall ask anything in my name, that will I do."
HINDRANCES TO PRAYER AND FASTING
1. The devil opposes every approach to God. He does all he can to stop
Christians from praying and fasting because he knows the power of these
two acts. He tries to fill all Christian's minds with other things to
take their minds off of God. He constantly tells you that you are too
tired and sleepy to pray. He uses the weapon of flesh against us.
2. Another hindrance to prayer and fasting is unbelief. James said. "Let
him ask in faith nothing wavering (doubting). For he that wavereth is
like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that
man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord."
3. Our carnal nature hinders us from praying and fasting. Sometimes we
are too carnally minded to pray and do not like the sacrifice of
fasting. We seek personal gain. Our time is taken up by the things that
better our life materially, and we have very little time to pray. Prayer
is an enemy to the carnal nature.
JESUS, OUR EXAMPLE
1. Prayer and fasting were first place in Jesus' life. He did not pray
to prepare for the battle; it was the battle. He put forth His greatest
energy during prayer. He prayed in the garden until his sweat was as
great drops of blood. After prayer, Jesus went forth as the victor to
receive the spoils of spiritual war. Victories were won in prayer and
displayed in the Lord's daily life and in His death.
2. Prayer and fasting were important in the life of Jesus. This
essential part o f the Christian life is being ignored by many even
though Jesus fasted and prayed as our supreme example. The Bible says,
"Jesus was led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the
devil." The next sentence tells us that he fasted. Fasting is the
preparation of the soul to insure victory over temptation and be rapture
ready. Luke said that Jesus was tempted after forty days of fasting. He
overcame the devil, won the victory over temptations, and the devil
could do nothing to destroy Him.
3. Jesus revealed the reason He fasted for forty days in Matthew 17. The
disciples had prayed for a lunatic boy. The boy was not delivered and
healed. The father of the boy brought him to Jesus and the Lord cast the
demons out. The disciples came to Jesus and asked why they could not
cast the demons out. He told them that "this kind goeth not out but by
prayer and fasting." The ingredients of prayer and fasting must be added
to make a power package to drive the devil out.
THE AWAKENING CHURCH
Jesus prayed while others slept. He asked, "Can you not watch with me
one hour?" He needed the spiritual support from others, but they fell
asleep. The Church is sleeping. This is the midnight hour. Who will
awake the Church with the cry? "Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye out
to meet him." The Scripture teaches that the Church will awaken for a
short period at the midnight hour. The Church will hear the cry. "Behold
the bridegroom cometh." Matthew 25 tells us that all ten of the virgins
awoke at the sound of the warning. The foolish realized that they did
not have oil in their vessel. They asked the wise if they could share
their oil with them. The wise ones have only enough oil for themselves
and say. "We do not have enough for us and you." It is possible that
during the final awakening of the Church that some congregations will
not have enough oil to share with others. Oil is a type of the Holy
Ghost. We must find a place on our knees and pray for the holy oil of
the Holy Ghost to saturate us with a new experience with God.
A CALL TO PRAYER AND FASTING
It is time for every member of the Church to hear the call to prayer and
fasting. The end-time is upon us. The clock hands are at the midnight
hour. The world is in turmoil and sin. Spiritually weak church members
weaken the spiritual structure of the Church. Pray and fast for
yourself, your family, the ministry, and the whole Church.
PRAYER AND FASTING BUILD MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH
1. Mark 11:23 states. 'Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou
remove, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt it in his
heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to
pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. This Scripture alone can change
your life from doubt to faith and defeat to victory
2. Prayer and fasting will do many things. They will generate miracle
faith, earth shaking faith, problem solving faith, and situation
changing faith. During the time of the warning, there will be many
difficulties to face. If you face life with faith, you can overcome.
3. Holy Ghost power is available to us, but we must take advantage of
it. Many people spend their lives close to the riches of God and never
take advantage of them. It is possible that we are sitting on top of the
riches of God and have not yet discovered them.
4. Prayer and fasting will remove the mountains from your life, but you
should not spend all of your prayer time for yourself and your family.
Intercession should be made for others that are not part of your family.
An intercessor is a person who prays for others until they receive help
from the Lord.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! PRAY AND FAST! YOU MUST DO THESE THINGS TO PREPARE
FOR THE RAPTURE!

CHAPTER 6
QUALIFIED TO GO IN THE RAPTURE
By: John L. Willhoite
HOLINESS IS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT TO BE ABLE TO GO IN THE RAPTURE!
In the beginning God created man a pure and spotless being. It was sin
that brought enmity between God and man. As long as a person has sin in
his life he cannot have a true relationship with God. Man must have
holiness through the Spirit of God, which should dwell in him.
SEED OF HOLINESS PLANTED IN THE HEART
A seed of holiness is placed in the heart of every born again Christian.
As the Spirit of God works in a Christian's life, the seed of holiness
grows and develops. What is holiness? Holiness is the working of the
Spirit in the soul by which a Christian is made like God. A Christian
partakes of God's divine nature. We are told by Paul to "Follow peace
with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.
HOLINESS BEGINS WITH-IN
Holiness effects the thoughts and the intents of the heart. It is
revealed in a Christian's life by every word and step. It is a life of
living outwardly the divine life of Jesus, which dwells within a child
of God. Holiness goes to the core of the heart. It requires the heart to
be set on God.
HOLINESS REQUIRED TO BE RAPTURE READY
"Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord" means just what it says in
the Bible. You cannot go in the rapture without holiness. Do you think
that God will continue to abide in a person who walks with Satan? Amos
3:3 declares differently. "Can two walk together, except they be
agreed?" Rapture ready Christians are those who search their hearts
regularly to strive for perfection. The Bible speaks to us about this.
"Search me, O God, try me, and know my ways." His eyes can see what our
eyes cannot, therefore we must put our trust in him to guide us into all
of His ways.
STANDARDS ARE NECESSARY
When God took Israel out of Egypt under Moses leadership, he let it be
known there were standards for them to live by. The Word of God dictated
their conduct, manner of life, and even their clothing. Israel was
required to keep these statues and laws throughout their future
generations. Moses said in Exodus 18:16. "I do make them know the
statutes of God, and his laws. "God declared in Deuteronomy 7:6, "For
thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God: The Lord thy God hath
chosen thee to be a special people unto himself above all people that
are upon the face of the earth."
DRESS STANDARDS GIVEN FOR ISRAEL
God spoke to Moses about his standards concerning what a man or woman
should or should not wear. Men are not to wear ladies apparel and ladies
are not to wear men's clothing.
THE HIGHWAY TO HOLINESS
Isaiah foresaw the future of the New Testament Church and said in Isaiah
62:10,12 and 35:8-9. "Go through, go through the gates: prepare ye the
way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway: gather out the stones;
lift up a standard for the people. And they shall call them, The holy
people. The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, sought out,
a city not forsaken. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it
shall be called the way of holiness, the unclean shall not pass over it:
but it shall be for those, the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not
err therein. The redeemed shall walk there." Isaiah further proclaimed
in Isaiah 49:22. "Thus saith the Lord God. Behold, I will lift up mine
hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people."
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS AND STANDARDS
God has set standards for the Church. There are standards for the life
style, manner of dress, apparel, and doctrine of the New Testament
Church. All Christians should observe these standards. They are called
"standards" because guidelines must be established or standards set
forth by the ministry that standardize our way of living in Christ
Jesus. Even the weakest Christians know that there are things they can
do or must not do. Trim your lamps and let holiness shine brightly
through Bible standards.
HOLINESS AFFECTS OUR LIVES
Separation from the world will affect every part of a Christian's life.
It will affect the conversation of the converted. Profanity, cursing,
vulgarity, and lying cease to exist in a Christian's life. Rapture ready
Christians guard their conversation. Paul instructs us in Philippians
1:27, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of
Christ." Gossip and speaking evil about others must be cleansed from
every Christian.
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS ARE CAREFUL WHAT THEY SEE AND HEAR
True holiness standards will guide the Christian in the selection of
reading materials. The true Christian does not fill his mind with
filthy, lustful, pornographic books, dirty comics and lust filled
magazines. Also worldly music can damage your Christian walk. Movies,
lewd television programs, and ungodly commercial video films weaken your
stand for God and truth. We must keep ourselves unspotted from the
world. Our minds must be kept free of spiritual pollution or we will
again be entangled in the web of Satan.
CHRISTIANS ARE NOT CAUGHT UP IN SEXUAL SINS
Christians will not practice homosexuality and lesbianism. Sin will not
enter into I leaven. Those who have been involved in this type of sin
must repent and change their ways to go in the rapture. The men who have
effeminate ways and mannerisms and the ladies who have a tendency to be
masculine will correct their mannerisms. Also, adultery and fornication
must be repented of and changes made to prevent their reoccurrence.
SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD
Separation from the world will cause us to dress and look differently.
True Christians do not expose their bodies to the eyes of the public.
Men should not take their shirts off in public. Taking a bath or
swimming in the public without sufficient coverage is shameful. Ladies
should wear dresses that are modest. The dresses should not be so tight
that every curve of the body is seen. Parents should provide sufficient
clothing to hide the private parts of their children. A mother who is
breast-feeding her child should cover herself while doing so. Separation
from the world will change our bad and sinful habits. Smoking, beer
drinking, whiskey drinking, gambling stealing, and all such like must be
put away and not committed again. A godly woman will not wear lipstick
or coloured cosmetics to beautify her self. Paul said in 1 Timothy
2:9-10, "Women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shame faced ness
and sobriety: not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly
array, But which becometh a woman professing godliness with good works.
"The Christian woman knows that 1 Corinthians 11:15 states. "If a woman
has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a
covering." She will not cut her hair. A Christian man must not have long
hair. 1 Corinthians 11:14 states, "Does not nature itself teach you that
if a man have long hair it is a shame unto him."
RULES TO HELP YOU MAKE PROPER DECISIONS CONCERNING HOLINESS
Ask yourself these questions concerning everything you do or say.
1. Does the Bible condemn this?
2. Can I pray and ask Jesus to bless it?
3. Can I take Jesus with me while practicing it?
4. Will this be a blessing to others?
5. Will this be a stumbling block to anyone?
3. Will this hinder, in ally manner, my service to Jesus Christ?
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! THE RAPTURE IS APPROACHING AND YOU MUST BE READY
TO GO.
"WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD."

CHAPTER 7
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
By: John L. Willhoite
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS AND THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Ask yourself the question, "Is there evidence in my life that I am a
true follower of Jesus Christ?" Jesus said in Matthew 7.'2() "By their
fruits ye shall know them." The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.
True Christians radiate these traits constantly in their dealings with
other people.
THE MOST IMPORTANT SIGN
The most important sign that all of the others are built around is love.
It is a feeling of brotherhood and good will toward other people. Love
causes a mother to hold her child, love is what makes a father support
his family, love causes Christians to love their enemies, and love
causes a person to ask for forgiveness.
FINAL APPROACH TO THE COMING OF THE LORD DEMANDS LOVE
As we approach the end of this age and the rapture of the Church from
the earth, millions will go to Christians for help. The Church needs a
fresh baptism of love to fill this need. A sign of love is a smile, a
friendly look, or any act of kindness to another.
THE SECOND FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS JOY
The experience of the Holy Ghost brings joy to the believer. Paul said
in Phillippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say
rejoice." The Christian life was never meant to be sad and dreary. Our
worship of Jesus Christ should be full of joy. The joy of the lord lifts
us up above our burdens and trials. Nehemiah 8:10 says, "The joy of the
Lord is my strength."
THE THIRD FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS PEACE
Millions of nervously upset people visit psychiatrists and spend
fortunes searching for peace of mind. Many smoke cigarettes, drink beer,
and take drugs to calm their nerves. This indicates a lack of peace in
their souls and minds. God has promised to supply our needs. He has
promised Heaven to us. A person that worries constantly needs to have
faith in the promises of God, thus bringing about peace in the soul and
mind.
THE FOURTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LONG SUFFERING
In a word, long suffering means patience. We all know what patience is.
Wait on the Lord and His timing for things to happen. He knows best. Do
not try to rush things in your own timing, it will only mess things up.
THE FIFTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS GENTLENESS
The Spirit of God manifests itself as being gentle. When we have the
Spirit of God in our lives we must be humane. A gentle person is not
easily irritated and is never angry without a just cause. Gentleness is
not being bad tempered. True Christians are not cruel and do not strike
out at others. Solomon said in Proverbs 22:24-25, "Make no friendship
with an angry man, and with a furious man thou shalt not go, lest thou
learn his ways and get a snare to thy soul." Gentleness is a sign of
strength.
THE SIXTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS GOODNESS
David said in Psalms 37:23, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the
Lord and he delighteth in his way." The integrity of a good man is above
reproach. He is honest, righteous, and has good morals. The presence of
a good man influences those around him to be good.
THE SEVENTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS FAITH
Faith is trusting God. It is belief in the existence of all unseen
things that pertain to God. Paul spoke about faith.
1. Hebrews 11:6, "Without faith it is impossible to please him.
2. Hebrews 11:1, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the
evidence of things not seen."
Faith is a quality that can be transmitted to others. The fruit of faith
is given to all Christians to give to others. Speaking words of faith to
another person encourages him to continue to serve the Lord. The Bible
says. "Faith cometh by bearing and hearing by the word of God."
THE EIGHTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS MEEKNESS
A meek Christian has the quality of humility. It means to be humble and
submissive. Meekness means that when you do others wrong, you will ask
for forgiveness. A meek person is submissive to God and to leadership.
To be a true Christian with a meek spirit does not mean that he is not
to be aggressive and without a vision. The meek person accepts the
challenge to do the will of God, but he considers others and their
opinions. He feels that others have the right to be leaders as well as
himself.
THE NINTH FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS TEMPERANCE
Every Christian must have the quality of restraint. Temperance is
restraint. Those who live without restraint give themselves to every
basic desire in the human heart. The Bible tells us that the days of
Noah were like the days we live in now. In the end-time they will be
eating and drinking until the day of the rapture. Paul says in 1
Corinthians 9:25-27 "And every man that striveth for the mastery is
temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown,
but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly, so
fight I, not as one that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and
bring it into Subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached
to others, I myself should he a castaway.
JESUS MUST BE IN FULL CONTROL
Christians who have the love, joy and peace of God in their lives must
spread Christianity. The Lord dwelling in our hearts and having full
control will bring forth the fruit of the Spirit. Let the Spirit of God
work in you and you will be fruitful in every good work. The rapture is
soon to come. Remove hatred, malice, adultery, fornication, lying
stealing from God, and all other elements of Satan from your mind and
heart. Make wrong things right. If you have done something that hurt
your brother in Christ do not be afraid to go to that person to ask
forgiveness. Cling to the fruit of the Spirit.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! JESUS WILL RETURN SOON. THE CRY IS GOING OUT TO
EVERY CHRISTIAN. "AWAKEN MY CHURCH, REPENT OF ILL FEELING AND SINFUL
ATTITUDES! REMEMBER, THIS IS YOUR WARNING AT THE MIDNIGHT HOUR.
TRIM YOUR LAMP AND ADD THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT TO EVERY PART OF YOUR
LIFE.

CHAPTER 8
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS GIVE SACRIFICIALLY TO GOD'S WORK
By: John L. Willhoite
THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY
God placed the five-fold ministry in the early Church. All five
ministries still exist in the Church of the end-time. They are:
Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers.
1. Apostle - This word means, "sent." Sent by whom? An apostle is a
person who goes to a country, a city, or any area to raise up a new
work. The original apostles were the pioneers of the Church. They
established the Church in unreached areas. Apostles are sent by the Lord
and the existing Church to establish the gospel in unreached areas. How
is the apostle supported financially? He is dependent upon the pastors
and local churches for his assistance.
2. Prophet - Prophets do not go around prophesying all of the time, even
though this is an important part of their ministry. Their work impacts a
nation with challenges against sin and corruption in high places. A
prophet is sometimes sent to stir up Church and bring the members to
their knees. How is the prophet supported? He usually has no financial
support other than that, which is generated through the local pastors
and churches.
3. Evangelist - The evangelist is a travelling minister who does not
pastor a local church. His ministry consists of perfecting Christians
and ministering to the unsaved. How is the evangelist supported
financially? He receives offerings from the pastors and local churches.
4. Teachers - Teachers are given for the perfection of the saints. They
are one of God's gifts to the Church, yet their ministry is usually
supported by themselves.
How should a teacher be supported financially? The pastors and local
churches should support the teacher's ministry
5. Pastors - Pastors care for the local congregations. How are the
pastors supported financially? They usually derive their income from the
tithe of the local church. The pastors are chosen by God to be the
stewards and treasurers for all five ministries. The local pastor is
responsible to God for the money received from the congregation. It is
an awesome responsibility to govern God's money. The money must be
distributed properly. God will refuse to bless the church and pastor if
this is not done. The money may continue to flow, however, empty altars
and discouraged, spiritually dead members are the results of not taking
care of the ministries.
A RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARDS GIVING
A person must give with a right attitude or the Lord will not accept it.
Giving is not to be begrudged with a feeling that you are forced to
give. We are to give cheerfully. "For God loveth a cheerful giver." The
Bible says, "Then the people rejoiced. for that they offered willingly,
because with a perfect heart they offered willingly unto the Lord, and
David the king also rejoiced with great joy."
BIBLICAL TITHING
Proverbs 3:9 states, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the
first-fruits of all thine increase." Abraham was the first to give tithe
to the Lord. It is said in Genesis 14:20, "And blessed be the most high
God, which bath delivered thine enemies unto thy band. And he gave him
tithes of all." The tithe is 10 percent of your earnings. Jacob said in
Genesis 28:22, "And this stone which I have set as a pillar, shall be
God's house and all that thou shalt give me, I will give the tenth unto
thee." A tither is blessed financially by the Lord. Systematic giving is
required of all Christians. We must set aside our tithe and offerings.
If we do not separate the Lord's money from our own, we may he tempted
to spend it. Leviticus 27:30 reveals to us that tithe and offerings are
"holy unto the Lord." The Bible teaches in 1 Corinthians 16:2 "Upon the
first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God
hath prospered him."
GIVING SACRIFICIAL GIFTS
All true Christians are required to give sacrificially to world missions
during the interval between the warning and the rapture. The spirit of
generosity is coming to those who wish to follow God. Lands will be sold
and the entire amount given to overthrow the power of the devil. The
Church is realizing that money will be needed to complete the work of
the Lord in the earth before his coming. The members and pastors are
sacrificially committing their possessions and finances for God's work.
WAYS TO BLESS THE LORD THROUGH GIVING
There are several ways to bless the Lord with your finances:
1. Sacrificial gifts for the work of the local church.
2. Tithe must be given faithfully by every person who has financial
gain. Ten percent of all finances belong to God.
3. Home missionary giving is productive. This is for the missionaries
who live and work in the same country where they were native born.
4. Foreign Missionaries must be supported. How shall we evangelize the
world if we never make a commitment to help them carry the gospel around
the world?
STAGNANT POOLS
The local pastor and church officials control the money of the Church.
They direct the funds into the proper channels. A body of water will
become stagnant if it has no outlet. Thriving churches must give to
those who carry the gospel or they will become stagnant cesspools.
BE CAREFUL HOW YOU GIVE
It is the custom of some to make a big issue of their giving. They want
everyone to know that they are giving and the amount they are giving.
They prefer to give when there is a show of hands and not when the
offering plate is passed. The reason for this is the desire for
recognition from other members and the pastor.
There is nothing wrong with making a verbal commitment before the
congregation of the Lord. However, if the only reason for giving is for
recognition, you will receive your reward only from those around you who
appreciate your giving.
THE LORD WILL CAUSE US TO PROSPER
God will honour your giving and pour out blessings on you, which causes
a Christian to prosper financially. Three witnesses of this fact are
listed.
1. The Lord said in Malachi 3:10, "Bring ye all the tithes into the
storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now
herewith, saith the Lord of hosts. If I will not open you the windows of
heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there is not room enough to
receive it."
2. Jesus said in Luke 6:38, "Give and it shall be given to you, a good
measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall men give
into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall
be measured to you again."
3. Paul said. "He which soweth sparingly, shall reap also sparingly, and
he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." We must give
God an opportunity to prove himself. His giving to you is based on your
giving to him. You can expect great returns as you give unto the Lord
although this is not the primary reason for giving.
REVIVAL MUST TAKE PLACE NOW!
It is time to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. The warning is
now going out, "Behold the bridegroom cometh. Go ye out to meet him."
Going out to meet Him involves your total life. This means that every
pastor and member must give of themselves and their finances to be
involved in the end-time revival.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! LAYING UP TREASURES ON EARTH IN THESE LAST DAYS
WILL NOT BE PROFITABLE FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
THE WORLD CANNOT EXPLODE INTO APOSTOLIC REVIVAL WITHOUT FINANCES.
GIVE TO THE LORD'S WORK AND LET GOD WORK THROUGH YOU.

CHAPTER 9
HELL, THE DESTINY OF THE SINFUL
By: John L. Willhoite
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS WILL NOT GO TO A BURNING HELL!
Eternity is infinite, limitless, immeasurable and forever. Time, bounds,
shores, or the finite does not limit it. The eternal is without end.
When dealing with God, we must deal with the eternal. For instance, the
redemption that Jesus Christ secured for us on Calvary is eternal.
Hebrews 9:12, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own
blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal
redemption for us." Our salvation that Jesus brought to us gives us
eternal life. Hebrews 5:9 states, "And being made perfect, He became
author of eternal salvation unto all that obey Him." Majestic Heaven,
the abode of God, is a permanent eternal place. The hope of every
Christian is to make this place their permanent residence.
HELL IS AN ETERNAL PLACE
It may shock you to learn that there is an actual violent, turbulent,
raging, ever-burning, never to cease place of punishment, a place where
the sinful do not die: and the fierce scorching fire is not quenched.
Hell is a true reality, unfaked, unexaggerated, and bona fide place. It
is the actual residence of judged, condemned sinners, fallen angels, the
devil, the false prophet, and the Antichrist.
JESUS DESIRES TO SAVE EVERYONE
God has acted at great personal cost to free us from eternal punishment.
John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only
begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life." The price was paid on an old rugged cross. John
3:1 7 states, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn
the world: but that the world through Him might be saved." Every person
must make the decision for his or her eternal destination
HELL AND BIBLE REFERENCES
Hell is mentioned in the Bible numerous times. 11 Samuel 22:6 says that
it is a place of sorrows, "The sorrows of Hell compassed me about." Luke
16 says that Hell is a place of torment. "And in hell he lift up his
eyes, being in torments." Matthew 5:29 confirms that there is suffering
in Hell. "It is more profitable for thee that one of thy members should
perish and not that thy whole body should be cast into Hell." Hell is
not a popular subject. No matter how unpopular the subject is everybody
should be informed of the burning Hell. There is a real burning Hell! It
is not a pleasant thought, but it is better to think about Hell now and
repent, than to ignore the fact and do nothing about your salvation. Do
not wait until it is too late to make a decision to serve the Lord.
HELL NOT MADE FOR MANKIND
Hell was not made for humanity. God was forced to create a burning Hell
because of the fall of the angels. Satan and his demons were condemned
to spend eternity in Hell when they rebelled against God. Jesus himself
declares in Matthew 25:41 that Hell has been prepared for the devil and
his angels.
MAN REBELLED AGAINST GOD
Man rebelled against God. 11 Peter 2:4-6, "For if God spared not the
angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into
chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment: And spared not the old
world, but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness,
bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the
cities of Sodom and Gomorra into ashes, condemned them with an
overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live
ungodly."
HELL IS ENLARGING HERSELF
Proverbs 27:20 states that "Hell is never full." The Bible is true. Hell
is never full because it is constantly enlarging itself. Isaiah 5:14,
'Hell is enlarging herself without measure." Why is Hell enlarging
herself? It is not necessary to make the prison larger if the population
placed inside the walls is not increasing. Hell is enlarging herself to
accommodate the millions who were not scheduled to go there. God made
Hell and set it on fire with eternal fire. The roaring flames eat away
at the enclosure of I fell while most sinners have little knowledge of
their final destiny.
CLEAR DESCRIPTION OF HELL
The clearest description of Hell is found in Luke 16. "There was a
certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared
sumptuously. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was
laid at his gate, full of sores. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs
which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked
his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by
the angels into Abraham's bosom, the rich man also died and was buried:
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torment and seeth Abraham afar
off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said. Father Abraham,
have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his
finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, "Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receiveth thy
good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things, but now he is comforted
and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is
a great gulf fixed; so that they which would pass from hence to you
cannot: neither can they pass to us that would come from thence."
RICH MAN'S STORY REVEALS SEVERAL THINGS
1. A person will have a body in Hell. The person will not be spirit
only, but will have eyes, tongue, voice, and memory. The inhabitants of
Hell will have feelings. They will think about loved ones, be thirsty,
feel pain, and be remorseful for the life they lived while on the earth.
2. Hell's population will be able to remember the good things they had
on the earth and the bad that they did during their lifetime.
3. Voices will be heard in Hell. Some will be crying for water; others
will pray for mercy; and others will pray for lost family members.
Yes! It is true! Hell will be full of people who refused to pray while
on earth, but in Hell they will be willing to pray.
THE NARROW AND THE BROAD WAY
There is a narrow way that leads to life eternal. A broad road leads to
Hell. Matthew 7:13-14, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the
gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there
be which go in thereat; Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the
way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Millions
are marching to the cadence of Satan, Marching to their eternal destiny;
headed for a Hell that was not prepared for them.
THE PLAN OF SALVATION
We can all be thankful that the story does not end here. There is a way
to escape from going to Hell that has been provided by God. Jesus does
not desire that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance and eternal life.
ACTS 2:38 IS THE PLAN
Peter shouted on the day of Pentecost. "Repent and be baptized everyone
of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." First a person must place
their faith in Jesus Christ. The second step is repentance. The third
step is baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
The fourth step is to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the
evidence of speaking with new tongues.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! HELL IS THE ETERNAL DESTINY OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS
WHO CHOOSE THE BROAD ROAD! JESUS IS COMING!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU MISS THE RAPTURE?

CHAPTER 10
OUR HEAVENLY HOME
RAPTURE READY CHRISTIANS WANT TO MAKE HEAVEN THEIR ETERNAL HOME!
By: Kevin Martin
1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 states, "For if we believe that Jesus died and
rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." It is important to know
and believe that Jesus is coming back and that Heaven exists.
HEAVEN OR HELL
There are only two destinations for human beings. It is either Heaven or
Hell. Choose the straight road and go to Heaven or choose the wrong road
and go to Hell. The broad road of sin and hypocrisy leads to Hell. The
narrow road of holiness and truth leads to life eternal. Choose the
right road and go in the rapture.
HEAVEN IS THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOD
Heaven is the throne of God. It is the dwelling place of the most high.
It is the home of our heavenly father who is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 5:34 - 35 states. "Heaven is God's throne and the earth is his
footstool." When Jesus was teaching on prayer in Matthew 6:9, He said,
"Our father which art in heaven." This clearly identifies Heaven as
being the home of our Lord. God's abode is a unique realm, not to be
identified with the physical creation: In Deuteronomy 10:14, the
Scripture says "Behold the heaven and heaven of Heavens is the Lord's
thy God."
A HEAVENLY HOME IS PREPARED
There is a special place that God has prepared for those who love Him
and keep his commandments, John the Revelator is the only human being to
see the New Jerusalem. We could not even imagine what Heaven is like,
however it has been described to us. It is beyond our wildest dreams,
Jesus said in John 14, "In my fathers house are many mansions: if it
were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And
if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also." Jesus promised to
come back for the Church. Are you ready for his coming?
THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM
The Lord showed John a revelation of the city that he prepared for His
Church. John saw this beautiful city coming down from God. Revelation
21:2 states, 'And I, John, saw the holy city. New Jerusalem, coming down
from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
Very soon our eyes will See Heaven. We will behold its beauty as the
bridegroom presents it to the bride. The bride and the bridegroom will
be brought together for that great wedding day.
HOW LARGE IS THE HOLY CITY?
John saw the angel measure the new city. Revelation 21:16 says that it
is 12.000 furlongs or 3,000 kilometres square. The New Jerusalem will
also be 3000 kilometres high. This is a great city! It is a place to
look forward to seeing and calling our eternal home. We will be there
forever and forever.
THE WALLS OF THE NEW JERUSALEM
Revelation 21:10 informs us, that John was carried away in the spirit to
a great and high mountain. One of the beauties that he beheld was a
great wall made of Jasper. The wall of Jasper, that surrounded the Holy
City, measured one hundred and forty and four cubits or seventy meters
tall. Jasper is like glass and is very hard. The city is like a
beautiful green coloured Gem. It is colourful and clear as crystal. It
is more beautiful than anything in all the world. Revelation 21:19-22
tells us that the foundations of the wall of the city are garnished with
all manner of precious stones.
THE TWELVE GATES OF THE CITY
Twelve entrances are located in the walls. Three gates are on each side
of the city. At each entrance there will be an angel standing guard.
Revelation 21:12, "John saw the wall great and high, and there were
twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon,
which are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel." Beyond the gates
are streets of pure gold. Revelation 21:21. "The streets of the city
were pure gold, as it were transparent glass."
THE HOLY CITY IS A PLACE OF PURITY
When a wall is built around something, it is built for security. Our
heavenly home will be a place of eternal safety. In Matthew 6:20 Jesus
said. "Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor
rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal."
Within the walls of this city there will not be anything that can
corrupt. There will not be any pollution or harmful chemicals that cause
rust. Nothing can harm the people that go to heaven.
JESUS IS THE LIGHT IN THE NEW JERUSALEM
In Revelation 21:22 John said, "And I saw no temple therein, for the
Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." On earth, man has
worshipped God in temples made with man's hands. In the city of God,
there is no need of an earthly temple. Jesus is the temple. He will be
the light of the city. Revelation 21:23, "And the city had no need of
the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did
lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof,"
HEAVEN IS A PLACE OF PEACE
It is difficult to find peace on the earth. The only true peace on the
earth is having God inside you. It is wonderful to know that when a
Christian lays down at night that he is ready for the rapture. Heaven is
a place of peace. This peace is so awesome that problems of life will
not destroy the faith of the Christian. During the interval between the
warning and the rapture Satan and his demonic forces will attempt to
discourage the faithful of God's church. All true Christians will keep
their faith, will not waver and will be with Jesus forever.
THIS IS YOUR WARNING! BEING PREPARED FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD IS
